Growth Hub Trading Education respects your privacy. This Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website and community, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you.
01 Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Growth Hub Trading Education ("Growth Hub", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when a visitor uses our website at growthhub.academy or participates in our community (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy does not cover the practices of third parties we do not control, including the payment, community, and messaging platforms described in Section 06. Those providers maintain their own privacy policies.
02 Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you submit directly, which may include your name, email address, billing details, and any content you post inside the community such as goals, trade journals, questions, and messages to coaches or other members.
Billing details are collected and processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.
03 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the website we automatically collect standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits.
This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 05.
04 How We Use Information
We use personal information to operate and deliver the Services, process payments and manage memberships, respond to questions and provide support, send administrative messages about your account, send newsletters and marketing messages where you have opted in, understand how the website is used so we can improve it, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use community content such as trade journals or coaching discussions for advertising purposes.
05 Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the website. Google Analytics sets cookies that collect the technical information described in Section 03 and assigns your browser a randomly generated identifier. This data is used in aggregate to measure traffic and page performance, not to identify you personally.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the website function.
06 Service Providers and Third Parties
We share personal information with vendors who perform services on our behalf. These currently include our website host and content delivery network, our analytics provider, our payment and subscription platform, our community and messaging platform, and our email service provider.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights or safety of Growth Hub or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
07 Legal Bases for Processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation or the UK GDPR applies, we process personal information on the following bases: performance of a contract, for delivering the membership you purchased; legitimate interests, for securing and improving the Services; consent, for marketing email and non-essential cookies; and legal obligation, for tax and accounting records.
08 Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your membership is active, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute resolution obligations. Community content you posted may remain visible to other members after you leave unless you ask us to remove it.
09 Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls that limit who on our team can view member data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a portable copy of your information, and to withdraw consent at any time.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected and disclosed, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will verify your request before acting on it.
11 Marketing Communications
If you opt in to our newsletter you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us. We will still send you essential administrative messages about your account and membership.
12 International Data Transfers
We operate from the United States, and our service providers may store or process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
13 Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it.
14 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the last updated date shown at the top of this page. If the changes are significant we will provide a more prominent notice, such as an email or an announcement inside the community.
